On Monday, January 4th, 2021, Stephen Dodig, loving father and grandfather of two children, two stepchildren, and five grandchildren, passed away at the age of 73.  

Stephen was born on January 26th, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas to Bronko and Frances (Horvat) Dodig.  An Army veteran, Stephen served in the Vietnam war.  He spent his career in jewelry custom design and repair.  Stephen was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. A caring man, Stephen was a storyteller of life who would give you the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket.   

Stephen was preceded in death by his Father Bronko, Mother Frances, his wife Sharon (Miller) Sprenkel-Dodig, and three sisters Donna, Kathleen, and Margaret. He is survived by his children Simica, Dack, Gwen, and Andy, and grandchildren Breeleigh, Leah, Brandon, Drew, and Julia. He is also survived by his sisters Lorraine and Patricia, his brother John, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
