Dear Conard and Watkins families, whom I know and love, My heart and prayers are with you as you mourn your loss and celebrate the love in which you will continue to walk. In each of you, I have already encountered the legacy of your father/grandfather’s love as expressed by the quote you chose to reflect his life: “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one come to you without leaving happier.” -Mother Teresa You will remember and remain close to him as you continue throughout your lives to live in this legacy of love. Mike was truly a good person. I was three yards behind him the night he broke his leg in football, I drove trucks on a paving crew with him the following summer, I enlisted in the Navy with him and Joe but was denied because I was only 17. Thru all of that Mike never change - always thoughtful, kind and generous. Truly a gentleman and good person. RIP good buddy.
