Manuel Q. Avila, age 92, passed away on November 18, 2020. He was born to the late Maria (Quiroz) Avila and Gilberto Avila. Manuel proudly served in the Navy for five years as well as the Air Force for four years. He retired from the US Postal Service in July of 1987. Manuel was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Esther Avila. He will be deeply missed by his surviving four children; Paula Gomez and her husband Martin Gomez, Robert Avila, Debra Renne and husband Patrick Renne, and Rose King and her husband Chris King. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

A private church service and burial ceremony will be held for immediate family. A special thank you to all the staff at Sunrise of Lenexa, KS and Ascend Hospice.
