Frederick James Fox, Jr., 94, of Overland Park, Kan., passed Monday, November 9, 2020. Fred was born April 20, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Fred & Clara. He earned a degree in Business Administration at Michigan State where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. After meeting the love of his life, Grace Rapin, the two were married in 1951. He worked at Wheeling Steel Co. for over 35 years and retired as Regional Manager in 1989.
He was the life of every party and well-known for his Kentucky Derby celebrations. He was a passionate Catholic, an avid golfer, and a traveler of the world. Fred's brilliance is survived by his brother Jack; daughters, Lynn Utt and Cindy Booth; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 13, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park, KS.

I want to thank Fred & Grace for being great friends to my parents Joe & Char Prohaska. My parents really enjoyed playing bridge and their friendship through the Catholic Church. I also want to thank Fred for being an amazing friend to my dad after both Grace & my mother passed away and he would take my Dad to lunch. Every time I saw Fred he had a smile on his face and positive words to say to everyone. Please accept my condolences and my thoughts are prayers are with his family & friends. God Bless, Dave
