I am so saddened about losing Kent. He was a great brother that I always looked up to my whole life. He was 10 years older then me and my protector when I needed him. When I was only about 12, my poodle was lost. I was so worried about him. Kent searched the neighborhood and came up with three poodles that he brought to me thinking one of them must be mine (none of them were mine! Lol). He very quickly took them back where he found them! He was my hero. Rest in peace Kent. I love you and will miss seeing you until we meet again. My sympathy all the family. Karen and Tim

Janet and Family, We know how hard it has been for your family since Kent has been sick. No words can describe the pain you must feel. We have the memories of good family times working and playing together as kids on the farm. I remember when Lynn was selling cars in CR. Lynn was so excited that Kent was going to be working with him in the car business. So many memories over the years and sadly we haven't been able to get together much since those days. He was a good man and he will be missed. Much love, Craig and Deb

Pippert Roofing & Me I met Kent back in the fledgling days of Prime Roofing providing sheet metal for some of his roofing contracts. Linn Freedlund was in charge of estimating at the time and Kevin had yet to come on board. Scottie was ramming around in a red Trans Am Pontiac with a big engine, a sketchy air breather apparatus and half of a dual exhaust. We tried to fabricate some metal to keep water out of the carburetor. Workmates at first but friends for ever. Kent was generous, kind hearted, honest and a lot of fun to hang out with after hours. There is a void in all of our hearts that we must fill with loving memories of Kent. I feel lucky to have known the man. Now I am going to cry a little for the loss. By the way "Pippert Roofing and Me" is the method Kent came up with to name his company. Prime Roofing Must be Bud time my friend!

To Kent’s Family, Pat and I are so sorry for your losing a great Father, Husband, son and Brother. Kent was a true Mentor to me and really gave me chance to get into the Commercial Roofing Business so I am eternally grateful to him for that. Hew was a great friend as well and would go out of his way to lend a hand whenever you needed it. They broke the mold after they made him because he was so much fun to be around. All our love, Linn and Pat Fredlund

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Kent. He was a good friend. I will miss the times of stopping by his shop & discussing taxes, septic systems, business operations & family. There is not a more giving & kind man on this planet. Kent was a mild mannered man who was always available to give a hand when needed. I will miss the times we gathered to share a beer & play with our cars. I will miss you, my friend. Blessings to his boys and family.

I’m so sorry for your loss Janet Greg & Scott. I think of you all often. I enjoyed all our times together hanging out and working in the office /shop. Lots of memories at Prime Roofing that red truck and the windex bottle with that towel of his. The boys and their cars visions of the trucks in the shop. Kent was fun so glad he hired me as his secretary. I remember the day I got truly saved when I accepted Jesus I told Kent the good news when he came in the office that day I just started crying. I couldn’t wait to tell him! He said, “It’s going to be okay!” You are alright! He was like a father figure to me for those years. He was there when I needed help. Car wouldn’t start he would come and get me like a father or friend would. I was hoping to see you again but you left before I could make it to you. Farewell my friend.
