Oct 09, 1951---Sep 07, 2020

Donna Marie (Rall) Ellebrecht was born in St Louis, Missouri on October 9th 1951. She was the third child of Melvin and Anna (Kuturovac) Rall. She graduated from Bayless High School and attended Meramec Junior College. She was working for Missouri Pacific Railroad when she met and married Alan Ellebrecht on August 2nd 1974.

Alan's job with IBM moved them around the country. They moved to Seattle, WA where their first child was born, Stacey (Ellebrecht) Roth. Next, was Sioux Falls South Dakota where their second daughter Lindsay (Ellebrecht) Schnichels was born. Then they moved back to St Louis where their son, Andrew Ellebrecht was born. Finally, they moved to Kansas City in 1986, where they remained ever since.

Donna was an Executive Administrative Assistant for many years at Coca-Cola, Applebee's, and KPMG. She was very involved in church organizations and loved to play cards.

Donna had a love for life, travel, and serving other people. Her ever present smile and easy going personality put everyone at ease. She was a hugger even if you just met her! Her family was important to her and she was extremely proud of all her grandchildren.

Alan and Donna valued their friends and fellowship that for 25 years they hosted a New Year's Day party at their house. Donna made her famous meatballs and she looked forward to this event every year.

Donna is survived by her husband Alan, brother David Rall (Mae), sister Patti (Rall) Van Alstine (Bill), sisters and brother in law Judi and Ken Street, and Janet Ellebrecht (Paloma), her children, daughter, Stacey and Tyler Roth and children Eli, Alaina, and Luke, daughter, Lindsay and Paul Schnichels and children Will and Hattie, son, Andrew Ellebrecht and many nieces and nephews and cousins and a bonus granddaughter Abbi Ebel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert.

I am so very saddened to hear of Donna's passing. I worked with Donna at the Kauffman Foundation and she was always the bright light in the room - willing and able to step in and help at any time. Her smile and positive demeanor was always counted on by myself and others. I truly enjoyed working with her. She was always telling me about her kids, and how proud she was of them, and her grandchildren, and the love she had for her husband. I'm so very sorry for your loss, and hope the happy memories sustain you. My best to all of you.
