I participated in many mission trips with Jerry over 20-25 years. Those trips give you an unique opportunity to really get to know someone. Jerry had a kind heart and was a selfless human being. I loved Jerry and his passion for those less fortunate. He was genuine and giving in so many ways. Jerry had a curious mind and adventurous spirit. He was always learning and growing. I know on his most recent trips, he was not feeling well, but his illness never kept him down. I loved Jerry and will miss him greatly.

Have really got to know Jerry and Mary the last few years when they visited us in our home in California. They are very easy to know. We will miss seeing him again "until we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!" Until then.....
