Betty Boylan, 96 of Lenexa, KS formerly of Overland Park, KS, passed away June 3, 2020 of natural causes. She was born August 4, 1923 in Augusta, KS. She married her high school sweetheart, Kyrle Boylan September 28, 1941 in Newton, KS. They were married 68 years prior to his death in 2010. Her pride and joy were her 2 daughters and being a homemaker. She also enjoyed the game of golf.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kyrle, parents Ruth and Harry Phillips and 2 sisters Yvonne Miller and Noralee Morris. Survivors are her 2 daughters Beth Kent of Olathe KS and Vicki Wright of Geneva, OH, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Inurnment will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas. Donations can be made to Community Chaplin Response Team, 209 S. Pine, Newton, KS 67114 or charity of your choice.
