A beautiful tribute to Curtis! You will be missed. Dave will cherish the memories of playing baseball and going with you to Chiefs games. Christina will forever remember you playing games with the kids and the amazing Christmas lights bus ride you gave to the family. Curtis, was one of the sweetest guys I’ve met!! I worked next to him for a couple years, he made me laugh! He was one of the hardest workers at Ups! The people on his route loved him! I met Curtis for the first time just 8 years ago and yet he had this friendly way about him that made you believe that he had been a close friend of yours since childhood. Our times attending San Francisco Giants games with Curtis and Beth out in the City are some of my most treasured memories. Love you Curtis, love you Beth.

While I don't know the circumstances of the how and why, I'm very very sorry that I am so far away and unable to provide comfort and assistance to you. Soon after moving to Virginia, I became disabled and can no longer travel alone. I am very upset that I have no means to help provide the comfort and support you will need to endure with the loss of your dear husband and wonderful man. Sorry to see this. I went to St. Peter's then Southwest HS with Curtis. Used to hang around with Curtis down on Kenwood with Darwin, Bobbi, the Mundays, and all the kids that lived down there. We also worked together for Porter's Personnel Service, working Kemper and other venues, during HS. He was a good soul.
