Ilene L. Fahring, age 94, of Liberty, Missouri, died Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Pleasant Valley Manor in Liberty.  Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kansas.

Ilene was born September 1, 1925 in Saline City, Kansas to George and Laura Alice Morrison Bross.  She was the loving wife of Carl Fahring who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Stephen C. (Lola) Fahring of Kansas City, Missouri; daugher, Dixie Clevenger of Galena, Missouri; grandchildren, Stephen, Benjamin, Joshua, Carla and Patrick as well as 3 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Timothy Fahring; and sister, Margaret Andrews.

Mrs. Fahring was a bookkeeper for the Local Boilermakers Union for 20 years.  She later worked for 10 years for the Kansas City Public Library.

Her hobbies included working crossword puzzles and in her younger years square dancing with family and friends.
