So sorry to hear about Shirleys passing, but thankful we know where she is. Also, amazing that she had no pain and we are thankful for that. We met Shirley through Stonecroft and have been trying to figure out how long she was a member. Shirley had a good sense of humor and was a true example for all of us as she glorified our Lord. Will always be thankful for her and thankful we get to see her again some day. She was an amazing woman!

I knew Shirley from our involvement in Johnson County Women's Connection which was a part of Stonecroft Ministries. Shirley was the treasurer for a good many years and was very dedicated and did a great job! She and I often arrived there early and had a good time joking and teasing each other. She was always the perfect hostess at her home and often hosted planning team meetings. I remember one time in particular, we were expecting women from North Kansas City as well as, our group. Many of us arrived early and were jokingly complaining how early we had to get up to get there. Someone said she almost came in her robe and slippers. Before we knew it, Shirley came out with about 4 robes and all the trimming to help us look like we just got up! It was so much fun and certainly broke the ice with the women who were not part of our group. I remember her 80th Birthday party and how proud she was to introduce every member of her family. She was a lovely lady who always made me smile!
