We were so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I was the one who contacted them about the possibility of them coming to Griswold. When I contacted him on the phone we visited about the situation and I told him how far we were from Kansas City and ask if that would be to far for him He said no, I didn't think he would agree to come. But they did after their time was up I asked if they would come that far again he said no it was to far. The congregation fell in love with them and the church is where it is today because of them. We are a healthy, active and growing. God knew they were just what we needed. We thank God he put them in our lives.

Don, Phil and all the family, Your dad spoke of you often when we visited. He was a great friend, mentor and confidant for me. He will be greatly missed. Larry was our interim minister at Rossville Christian Church and he became part of our family. I have 3 adult sons and they enjoyed Larry so much while he was minister here during their high school and college years. Your mother is very special to us also. I know you all have endured great hardship these last 10 years but I am rejoicing that Larry is free from the pain and suffering of this sinful world at at rest with our heavenly Father. God bless. We were saddened to hear of Larry's passing last week. We have so many fond memories of Larry and his entire family as our two sons grew up along with Donnie and Phil when we attended church at Stony Point Christian Church and then Wyandotte County Christian church before we moved to New York state. Larry had such a tremendous influence on our whole family and me personally. We had a lot of deep discussions on what it meant to be a Christian and he was always an encouragement and our friendship was very special. Larry also baptized our two sons, Steve and David, many years ago so our entire family will always be indebted to Larry for his faithful ministry.

I will remember his laughter and friendship. A life well lived, that's what I saw watching Larry. He taught me so much and loved so many. Thank you Jesus for Larry.

So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. He was RCC interim pastor (2007-2008) as we searched for our new minister. I see his name often noted in my Bible by the scriptures he preached on. Always enjoyed seeing when our path might cross. He will be missed.
