Dennis William Richards, 78, of Shawnee, KS., passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020.

Dennis was born March 16, 1941 to Robert G. and Ella L. (Kuehn) Richards. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Toni Richards, son, Dennis and his wife Angela and their children Ashlyn and Dana Richards, son, Michael Richards, daughter, Diane Hanneman and her husband Thomas and their children Jennifer, Mark and John Hanneman, and two brothers, Robert (Judy) Richards and Thomas (Theresa) Richards.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Porter Funeral, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Hope Lutheran Church, 6308 Quivira, Shawnee, KS 66216.

Inurnment to follow with Military Honors at Resurrection Cemetery.
