He grew up in Kansas City, KS as a child and went to college at Kansas State University earning his bachelors degree in business administration. I couldn’t be sadder for Patti and the family. I’ll always remember Brent as the kind, honorable, handsome young man blowing loudly on that saxophone behind me in band class!

Friend ,Houston ,Texas

I am so deeply saddened by Brent’s passing. He was such a great friend to not just my dad but to the rest of our family. Even after Jeff passed Brent made efforts to stay a part of my life, always reaching out to tell me happy birthday and to attend events like my wedding shower. I miss the days at the lake when we would all be together, hearing Jeff make obnoxious jokes and Brents infectious laugh that would follow. They were peas in a pod and I take solace knowing they can cut up together again in heaven. Patty, Kim, and Blake: My heart and prayers are with you all. I hope y’all can come together in this trying time, and please reach out to me if you ever need anything or just want to talk. I’m sorry I could not make it to the service but I send my love from Texas. We Allens know too well the pain of losing our father, the leader of the family. We will all dearly miss Brent, and will keep your family in our prayers always. With Love, Grant
