I worked with Brent at Bendix and Marion and he was one of the best, always true to his convictions. I am so deeply saddened by Brent’s passing. He was such a great friend to not just my dad but to the rest of our family. Even after Jeff passed Brent made efforts to stay a part of my life, always reaching out to tell me happy birthday and to attend events like my wedding shower. I miss the days at the lake when we would all be together, hearing Jeff make obnoxious jokes and Brents infectious laugh that would follow. They were peas in a pod and I take solace knowing they can cut up together again in heaven. Patty, Kim, and Blake: My heart and prayers are with you all. I hope y’all can come together in this trying time, and please reach out to me if you ever need anything or just want to talk. I’m sorry I could not make it to the service but I send my love from Texas. We Allens know too well the pain of losing our father, the leader of the family.
