John was a wonderful man with a servant leader's heart. I'm grateful to have seen the witness of his passion for the church in action when I worked with him on the Cure of Ars legacy society and endowment, and as a member of the Serra Club of Kansas City, Kansas. Eternal rest grant unto John.
