Judy (Sugar) Ann Carter

June 17, 1936- December 2, 2019

83 years old

Today the world lost, but heaven gained, one of the sweetest, dearest, most kind hearted, sassy lady ever.  She was 83 years young and had an unusual wit and strength with a grateful and servant’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her second husband Alfred Carter of New Castle Oklahoma, father Forest McAfee, mother Mary and step -father Murlan Seaton, sisters Janice Jensen and Suzie Shelton.

She is survived by brothers Bob and Mike Seaton, adored mother of her son Kenny and daughter- in -law Diane King of Laguna Beach, Ca., daughter Karen and son- in law-Harry Boydston of Louisburg Kansas, with whom she lived and was lovingly cared for the last eighteen years, bonus daughter and son Tisha and David Brooks, of Washington, Oklahoma , her six beloved grandchildren, Jerry Fleenor, Jennifer Dayo, Taylor King, Ryan King and Corey Brooks and Leanne Cheek along with her seventeen great-grandchildren. First and foremost, she was a loving Mother and Homemaker. She was a proud military wife to Lt. Col. Benny King of the U.S. Airforce for over 20 years.

The last two years of her life she was cared for at Louisburg Vintage Park.   She felt so loved and blessed by all her caregivers.

There will be a celebration of life in Holmes Beach, Florida a place she dearly loved and found comfort.

In lieu of flowers we ask donations be given to Kansas City Hospice House at 12000 Wornall Rd. Kansas City, Mo.  64145

Karen and Kenny, Tisha and all family members, A very beautiful tribute to a wonderful sister-in-law! So many memories, such a loving, caring, and fun loving lady. I can still hear her giggle and see her eyes twinkling. Great cook and specialties I remember especially was her famous bar b que sauce and her toffee. I so appreciate the love and care she gave Al, my brother which was a long, difficult time. Karen, you are to be commended for the love and care you tirelessly gave your Mom. You will always have those special memories to cherish. I am so thankful Judy is at peace and comfort with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Love and God bless to all family and friends.
