Ginger, I just learned of Jim's passing. I'm very saddened. My deepest sympathy to you and all your beautiful family. I recall Jim spending the 4th of July with us in Manhattan, when he was recuperating from his Vietnam injury. So many years ago! I send you much love and support. Suzanne Dulle

Ginger and Georgie Family, Jim was my friend, college classmate and fellow Vietnam veteran. In later years we bonded because of that military experience. After being ignored or derided for our Vietnam service, in recent years we veterans began to greet one another with three simple words. I think these words apply more than ever to Jim today: Welcome home, Brother

Ginger and Family, I was fortunate to share a very special bond with both you and Jim—in Atchison and Kansas City. Mike and I hope that a lifetime of good memories with Jim enable you all to diminish the grief of your loss. Regrettably, I have to work on the days of the services and Mike will have family visiting here. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Jeralyn and Mike

Ginger & Children, We are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. A complete surprise. We have the fondest memories of when our children shared their grade school classes and activities at Holy Trinity. It was during this time (1978-85) that Jim always agreed to share his talents and time with our children. "Nothing but your best" was Jim's motto. His motto has carried forward to the next generation (our grandchildren). Thanks to Jim for sharing his talents, time and encouragement. God Bless Jim and may he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. He will always have a special place in my heart. When I took over Ginger’s old room, he use to joke with me that I owed him rent for the room. He was always helpful and had a friendly smile. There will always be a special spirit of him and Ginger in my classroom. God bless you all. Jeni Oldenhuis and family
