Juanita was a stay at home mother and tended to the care and well being of her children and home. She was an active member of the Altar Society of St. Thomas Church and a room mother to many classrooms there. Her popcorn balls were a big favorite of all the students. She loved cooking and baking, pies, pies, and more pies at the holidays. But by far were the fresh hot tortillas she made at her kitchen table. Ready to be eaten when her children came home from school. Juanita helped at the neighborhood community centers with the local children and teenagers. And many would follow her home with her own children and play basketball in the driveway.

Juanita was a member of the Cursillo, and also along with her husband was a Lay Minister and taught Marriage Preparation Classes. Although her children were her priority, she loved traveling with her husband especially to the home they built in Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon. Her parents Salvador and Ignacia Villa. Her brothers; John Frank, Salvador, and Nieves. Her sisters; Catalina, Mercedes, Conception. Her son in laws; Patrick Casper, Charles (CJ) Washington and her daughter in laws; Sieglinde (Kiki) and Susie.
