Mr. D. J. Huffman, age 31, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away September 26, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home in Lenexa, Kansas.
DJ was a beautiful soul full of love and laughter.
He enjoyed music, spending time with his close friends, and being in the mountains where he longed to live someday.
DJ is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Stacia Huffman, and his babies, MooMoo, George, Ninja, Lana, and Ava.
He had a complicated relationship with butters. He despised avocado which he lovingly referred to as 'grass butter' but there could never be enough peanut butter.
DJ passed knowing that peacocks could fly, a 'giggity' could be included in any conversation, and that spiders will probably continue to haunt him.
A heartfelt thanks go to the truly exceptional nurses at Research Medical Center who provided much more than your average care for DJ, but also provided
a peaceful and compassionate environment during his transition from this life to the next.
Memorial donations in DJs name can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Fund.
