Beverly Jean Duffendack was born on November 7, 1932, in Kansas City, KS, the only child of Marion and Opal Davidson. She grew up in the Kansas City area and was a graduate of Wyandotte High School. She married David L. Duffendack on November 9, 1951. Shortly after marriage Beverly began her career as a customer service representative in the wholesale foods industry, which she continued until she retired. She was an active member of Sunset Hills Christian Church, where she was a Deaconess, bible study participant and served on many committees. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David in 2013, son Scott in 2002 and daughter Paula in 2018. Beverly is survived by son Jeff and wife Mary, grandchildren Kelly (Andrew), Kerri (Grant), Jeffrey (Amanda), Taylor (Alexa), and great grandchildren Julia, Caleb, Mackenzie, Addy Grace, Brett, Camryn, and Gabriel. Beverly will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved this generous woman, and we find peace knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones that have gone before her. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, September 12, 2019, at Sunset Hills Christian Church with Pastor Mike Barnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
