My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loved one! Allen was one of finest Christian men I’ve ever known! He was so very dedicated to his God, family, church and Masonic affiliations! Always busy with a big “to do” list! A couple weeks back, I drove by the church and there was Allen in the front working on something! I waved and drove on! Heading back I found him still there in another spot! I stopped and ask him if he realized how hot it was? Of course his answer was yes! But he said “ I’m putting this metal post near this culvert and driveway asphalt, in hopes that whoever is cutting this corner too close, and breaking the asphalt, will see it and move over”! Now mind you the post is grass green with many colorful flowers on it!!! It can’t be missed! Each time you drive into our church drive, look for it and remember the love that Allen had for his God and church family! I Shall miss him, but I know that Gods grass (if he has any) will have the best groundskeeper EVER!

I Started to church with Al when I was 4 years old we were very good friends I was Al's best man and we were in the army together. I tried to get him to enlist when I did but he waited a couple of weeks I have to go to hospital and was recycled in basic training and sent to same unit Al was in we both spent most of our tour's of duty in Germany. A better man, friend or human being will not be found. I am sorry for your loss Niza I know God got the best man I have known. Our prayers are with you and your family
