Kathleen "Kathy" (Stewart) Stoner, 59, Basehor, KS, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. The visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 4  at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa,  KS. The Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Porter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to LifeBridge United Methodist Church, 6601 Monticello, Shawnee, KS 66226.

Kathy was born January 15, 1960, in Jacksonville, Illinois and grew up in Houston, Missouri  moving to the Kansas City area in 1978. She had worked at Consolidated Container Co. in Lenexa for 41 years. Kathy had attended Life Bridge United Methodist Church. She was a lover of all animals, especially her ducks and dogs. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Stewart, Sr., her mother Verneta (Hale)  Williamson and her step-father, Pete Williamson. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Travis and Danielle Stoner, Brooke and Patrick Turner, her grandson, Edward Stoner, siblings, Sandra Matthews, Carl Stewart, Jr., Kerry Hartman, Craig Stewart, Lori Lalumia and several nieces and nephews. Kathy loved the ocean and beach and will be missed by all who knew her.
