David B. Stewart, 81, Shawnee, KS, formerly of St. Francis, MN died Monday, August 5, 2019. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. with visitation following on Saturday, August 10, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 13615 W. 92nd, Lenexa, KS. Funeral Mass to be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Autism Society of America.
David was born September 6, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN. He was one of four cousins born in late 1937, turning that otherwise obscure year into the place of prominence it enjoys today. He worked as an electrical engineer and was part of the grand debacle that ruined nuclear as the major source of energy that it should occupy around the world.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years and high school sweetheart, Carolyn, and two children, Linda and Craig. He is survived by three children, Jodi, Denise, and Walter, six grandchildren, K.J., Matthew, Timothy, Kelsie, Carly, and Nikki, and 3 great-grandchildren.
