Today Sharon Hahner found peace after losing her fight with cancer. Sharon’s kindness, tenacity, and wit allowed to her excel in life in her careers as a hairdresser and later in life as a paralegal. Her husband of 50 years, John Hahner, her mother, Elizabeth Poole, her daughter, Rebecca Sogn, and her grandchildren, Ashley de Andrade and Zachary Cason carry her memory on. Sharon enjoyed her last 15 years in retirement and filled her time with travels, reading, breakfast adventures with friends, and mastering a variety of crafts such as knitting.
A celebration of life will be held at Porter Funeral home in Lenexa, KS with a visitation from 3p-5p on Sunday, June 30th and a graveside service at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, KS on Monday, July 1st at 10 a.
