Atty. Alfredo Pacis Rosete died in Shawnee, KS on May 21, 2019 due to natural causes. He was born in Agno, Pangasinan, Philippines on June 26, 1945. Atty. Rosete obtained a Law degree from San Beda college, which he immediately used to help secure the future of his two sisters, Cecile and Bebsi, and his brother, Chito.

 

He is survived by his six children with Maryann Pulido Magsaysay: Anna, Nina, Rashid, Alfredo, Juan, and Maria. 

 

Atty. Rosete will always be remembered for his love of food, and music. His children often remark at how their Papa savors his meals and the meticulous care he takes in matching various flavors that he has on his plate. Through his last years, Atty. Rosete regularly played in a cover band with muscians half his age- a testament to his undying youth. His love of music sought its highest audience when he played his guitar for the Lord in his favorite church, Mary the Queen in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines.

 

Atty. Rosete will also be remembered as a tireless provider and devoted grandfather. Through his final years, he continued to take on clients to help provide for his four grandchildren: Ibrahim, Saffiyah, Zainab, and Mariam. They remember their morning drives to school with their "lolo" and their Sundays of ice cream, fried chicken, and movies. 

 

Atty. Rosete was cremated on May 24, 2019 after a mass in Cure’ of Ars Church. His ashes will be transported to the Philippines where his family will hold a celebration of life on June 15, 2019. The family of Atty. Rosete urges relatives and friends to keep his soul in their thoughts and prayers and to continue remembering his light in their lives.
