Sharell Jordan was the middle child born to Benjamin and Meta Pistora on Nov. 30, 1943 in Salina. She received the gift of eternal life on June 2, 2019. Sharell grew up in Westfall, KS and graduated from Beverly High School in 1961. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Sharell was office manager of the Midwest Association of Professional Education for many years before retiring, of which her husband Bob was President. She was an avid fan of the Jayhawks, Royals, and gospel music. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her familly - especially watching her grandchildren's sporting events, camping in the mountains of Colorado, growing flowers and playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Bob Jordan, her parents Ben & Meta, and a son Brandon Jordan.
She leaves to mourn a daughter and son-in-law, Gene & Jami Howe of Overland Park, KS and their children Aubrey & Tanner; a daughter and son-in-law, Ken & Kelley McMahon of Phoenix, AZ and their children Jordan and Cael, and a son Brad Jordan, of Overland Park, KS and his children Luke & Blake Jordan.
She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Terry & Peg Pistora of Salina and their children Brad and Steven, a sister and brother-in-law, Bennett & Steve Judson and their daughter Dakota of Aurora, IL as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 3:00 pm at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection - Wesley Chapel, in Leawood, KS with private internment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Fund c/o The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13702 Roe, Leawood, KS 66224.
