Mary A. Andrews, 87, of Lenexa, KS passed away May 4, 2019.  A visitation will be from 3-4:00 PM with a Funeral Mass at 4:00 PM May 7,  at Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St., OP, KS.  Burial will be Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Charities.



Mary was born October 2, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to George and Agnes (Pyne) Wettring.  She grew up in St. Louis, raised her family and later moved to Kansas to be near her children and grandchildren.  She loved movies and TV and her favorite foods were pizza and long john doughnuts.  She was a friend to all, bringing smiles and laughter with her wonderful sense of humor.  She was kind, generous, caring and committed her life to loving her family.             



Mary was preceded in death by her husband John P. Andrews, her parents and brother George Wettring.  She is survived by her daughter Christine (David) Hoffman, son John, Jr.  (Tara) Andrews, grandchildren Paul, Emily, Carter and Marley.  She was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
