Steve was my dear friend at work. We started at the IRS in the same training class at the same time. We were on the same team in Exam. We were accepted in the same manager cadre and managed different teams at the same time. We stayed in touch weekly after we left management and went on to different areas. He was such a dear friend to me. I called him "Stephon" and he called me "Zandra". He'd start his IM to me "Whazz up gurrrllll?" I will miss him so much. He had such a great way about him. He was so good with people and leading them on the various teams he managed. I loved his funny stories and work is not going to ever be the same without him. I am so sorry for your loss. He was taken too soon. Prayers and peace be with you and know that he left a wonderful legacy at the IRS with many, many friends that loved him.

Stevie Benskin was my cousin. He was one of the most beautiful babies you could ever imagine, with a smile that made you smile. So many happy times with Steve. He liked to put my children's toys together on Christmas Eve. Of course he would play with the toys and see how they worked. So, I waited for him and his sister to get back home after being at a family/friend gathering on Christmas eve. I had and continued to take my girls to look at Christmas Lights every Christmas Eve after visiting some of the time at the Benskin home. What a wonderful memory for us. There are many more but one in particular was he and I taking dance lessons together - rumba, cha-cha, waltz and we would practice at my house. The dogs danced with us! We got pretty good. There is so much more, and I am so sad for all of us by this sudden loss of Steve
