Neil Carlton Green, 76, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away Thursday March 14, 2019.  Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 23, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello Rd, Shawnee, KS.  Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa at W 83rd and Quivira immediately following mass. The family requests no flowers and suggests memorial contributions to the Olathe Hospice House and the National Stroke Association.

Neil was born on March 21, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Russell and MaryAnn (Stofan) Green. He was an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Shawnee, KS.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 56 years, Carol A. Green, of the home, four sons and their spouses, Todd and Dana Green (Lafayette, CA), Toby and Bethany Green (Cheyenne, WY), Tyler and Dana Green (Lenexa, KS) and Timothy and Tara Green (Shawnee, KS), seven grandchildren, Bradley, Kendall, Reese, Peyton, Fletcher, Grayson and Lorelei, two brothers, Dennis A Green and John Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.
