Betty Lou (Meyer) Capen, 93, of Overland Park died March 16, 2019.  Betty Lou was born in Kansas City, MO.  She and her husband, Robert “Bob” Capen lived in Overland Park for the last 66 years. 

 

Betty Lou is preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Robert in 2017.  She is survived by her son, Gary Capen and his wife Sharon of Florida; daughter, Patricia Turpin and her husband James of Overland Park, KS; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.  A private inurnment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery, where she will inurned next to her husband.
