At the age of 100, Wanda (Horner) Chick went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Wanda was born on February 14, 1919 in Bethel, KS. to Marcellous and Mary Horner, the 11th of 12 children. Wanda was the oldest living member of the First Baptist Church of Bethel, KS. She loved to cook and bake for all of her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Wanda was welcomed to heaven by her husband Louis Chick, son Howard, Daughter Becky and Grandson Bryan. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter Kathy, son-in-law Bill, Grandchildren David, Tracy, Heather, Jason, Dustin and Jen and Great Grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, Mikey, Holly,Cyann and Cyndal and Great Great Grandsons Christopher and Wyatt and multiple nieces and nephews around the country. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Delaware Highlands Assisted Living and Evergreen Hospice for their kindness and compassion. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16th at the First Baptist Church of Bethel followed by burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
