Gordon F. Dawson, 73, son of Eleanor and Fred Dawson, passed away on January 30, 2019. Surviving him are his sister, Patricia Serwon, nieces, Heather Serwon and Leslie Steinbrink and her husband, Dan, and great nieces, Hannah and Lily.

 

Gordon, a Navy Veteran, was a gregarious sort, who enjoyed his friends at The Point, for an evening of pool of which he was very accomplished. Many thanks to KU Med Staff for their patience and kindness. Special thanks to David Beatty, a good friend and a special blessing to Gordon and Debbie Sanders for her care and understanding. Cremation.

I am an old pool-playing buddy of Gordon's. We are about the same age. I remember him and the days we hung out together fondly. I was sorry to see that he died. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to Gordon's loved ones for their loss. I will remember Gordon and the times we had (and the pool games we played) for as long as I live. P.S. He was a pretty good cab driver too!
