Daniel Roger Findley, 73, Olathe, KS, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, at the University of Kansas Hospital. He was born in Johnstown, PA and was a graduate of Shade HS, Cairnbrook. Dan was a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force and was active in the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Helen Findley, brother, Richard Findley, Jr, and son in law, Darryl Bush.

Dan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine, daughters, Stacey Findley Bush, Jennifer Findley, grandson, Demetrius Bush, brother, Jack (Cyndi) Findley, Cairnbrook, PA and Cecilia Findley, Weirton, WVA. He is also survived by a large extended family, numerous friends and fellow veterans.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 am, on Saturday, January 19, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 21650 W 115th Terr., Olathe, KS. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dan’s name to KU Endowment, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Mail Stop 3012, Kansas City, KS 66160, to benefit KU Cancer Center.
