John Patrick "JP" Crilly, 48, Kansas City, KS, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at his home. A Visitation for family and close friends will be from 10 a.m.-12 noon on Tuesday, December 11 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS. The Funeral Mass will be at 12 noon with a reception immediately following in the Parish Center. Private family burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A Celebration of John's Life will be held on January 6, 2019 from 6-10 PM at Aura/Formally The Grand Emporium 3832 Main St, Kansas City MO. John was born November 19, 1970, in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO while his father was serving there in the US Army. John was a graduate of Bishop Ward High School and attended KCKCC. He had worked in financial services, was a sales manager at the family business, Commercial Claims and owned JP Events. John was a very social guy who never met a stranger and was very active in the AIDS Walk Kansas City and at the Kansas City Free Health Clinic. He is survived by his parents, Pat and Rosie, 2 brothers, Brian (Shawna) and Kevin, his maternal grandmother, Ursula Orlich, 3 nephews, Morrison, George and Jack and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
