Hal David Hendrickson, Sr., 69, of Overland Park passed away November 9, 2018. His family will have a memorial service in 6 to 8 months in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hal was born November 24, 1948, the son of Ronald and Ada (Logue) Hendrickson, in Beloit, Wisconsin. Hal grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Beloit High School, Class of 1967. He joined the United States Army in 1975 and was honorably discharge in 1981. While enlisted, he worked as a Utilities Equipment Repairman. He married Judith Ann Zimmerman in 1975 and was married for 43 years. Following the service, Hal worked as an equipment mechanic until his retirement. They moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Overland Park, Kansas in 2011. Hal always loved to go fishing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Hal is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice. He is survived by his wife, Judith; daughter, Jennifer Hendrickson; daughter, Jessica (Jose) Haros; daughter, LaCinda (Don) Maukstad; son, Hal D. (Kris) Hendrickson, II; his loving grandchildren; great grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
