Clemestine Rambo 78, of Overland Park Kansas died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the home. Services wiil be at Legacy Christian Church in Overland Park, KS, Friday Nov. 16th, AKA Sorority Ceremony will be at 10am, Funeral Services will follow at 11am. Repass to follow, Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery, in Leavenworth Kansas.

Mrs Rambo was born September 10, 1940, in Sherril, Arkansas the daughter of Peach and Lavan (Horne) Hill.  She was a 1st grade teacher at District 500 in KCKS.  She attended Soledad High School and was a graduate of Lincoln University, Lincoln University Jefferson City, MO.  She was a member of Mu Omega, AKA, and the NAACP.  She was a faithful member of Legacy Christian Church.

Mrs Rambo is survived by her husband, Bonnie O. Rambo, of the home. Adopted daughter Ramatu Deen, Fort Meade, MA, Step Children, Genard Rambo, Minneapolis, MN, Kay LaVonne (Ron) Watts, Leawood KS, Lisa Rambo Wyandotte County KS, Kenyon Rambo, Wyandotte County KS,  Afia Wilson, Columbus OH; Sister Lois Townson, St Louis MO, Brother Curtis Hill, St Louis MO, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Verdie Burns.

Thank you Clemmie for being by sister, friend and my Godmother. Thank you for what you taught me and just for being there with your continuous words of wisdom and kindness.
