Louie it’s hard to believe your gone but I’ll look forward to that laugh again one day. It was my pleasure to have your friendship through our time working together. You always could put life into perspective when others took things to seriously. I’ve never met your 2 girls but I know that you loved them like only a father could and my heart goes out to them knowing that their dad was crazy about each of you and wanted what’s best for his girls. My prayers and thoughts to your family Louie and I’ll see you soon buddy. Griff

I went to grade school and high school with Louis and count him as one of the nicest guys I grew up with. I always enjoyed being around Louis and his perspective on life was down to earth and from the heart. Though I didn't see Louis often these last couple decades, whenever I did he brought smiles to my face and laughter. I am a better person for having known Louis.

I was so very sorry to hear about Louis's passing. May God bless and keep all of you close in His loving care. He is Gone You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. Author Unknown Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers as I send you much love and heartfelt hugs. Lissa

I want to thank everyone for their love and support for Louis Jr. and his family during this difficult time, and I thank each and everyone one of you who made it to the visitation or the funeral mass. It was a beautiful service. I am so happy to hear how Louis touched peoples lives, with his fun attitude, great smile, and big heart. Hearing these stories bring joy and laughter as it reminds me of Louis's Spirit and the memories are priceless. Louis was a team captain, fund raiser, volunteer, and supporter of the LUPUS Heartland Chapter. Louis was on a mission to help others to raise funds to help those with Lupus and also to find a cure so future generations will not suffer. I, Ken Malinowski, will be picking up Louis Jr's torch for the "2019" Walk To End Lupus .......at Shawnee Mission Park next September. If you just attend one Lupus Walk in your life, please come out for next years walk in Honor Of Louis and the courageous battle he fought against this disease. It would make me so happy (and Louis) to see a great turnout for the Lupus Walk "2019". Just come out for the walk, and have fun. God Bless You All!
