Francis Dahlia Hefton, 97, Bonner Springs, KS, died November 4, 2018 at her home. Visitation will be from 5:30-7 p.m, Tuesday with an Order of Eastern Star Service at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS. Graveside Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Kindred Hospice. Dahlia was born August 19, 1921 in Kansas City, KS. She had been the Director of Nursing at the Edwardsville Convelescent Center in Edwardsville, KS. Dahlia was a member of the Gladiola Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Dale Hefton, a son Patrick Hefton and a sister, Barbara J. Eagan. Dahlia is survived by 3 children, Michael Hefton, Kelly Hefton, Joni Rankin, her sister, Georgianna Hosmann, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the worlds best wife, mom and grandma.
