Oct 11, 1927---Oct 29, 2018

Nadine T. Wano, 91, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018.  Visitation will be from 9:30 -10:30 AM with Funeral Services following at 10:30 AM Friday, November 2, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 N. 14th St. Kansas City, KS 66102.  Entombment in Gate of Heaven.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cathedral of St. Peter would be appreciated.

Nadine was born October 11, 1927, in Maple Hill, KS, the daughter of Francis and Teresa Ronnau.  She graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing and had a lengthy career working for various OB/GYN physicians in the Kansas City area.  Nadine continued to "nurse" and care for family and friends after her unofficial retirement.  She was forever a helper, never wanting help.  She was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral and was very active in the church.  After moving to The Piper, she embraced the opportunity to attend mass at Holy Angels in Basehor, KS.  Thanks to all who spent time with Nadine at the Piper in her last few years, she enjoyed the visits.  Thanks to Staff at the Piper for their great care and support, and Catholic Community Hospice.  A special thanks to Saint Anthony; mom finally found what she was looking for.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ben Wano in 2014.  sister Mary Frances Ruddy, five brothers Francis, Jr., Theophil, Hennie, Genie and Louis Ronnau.  Survived by her son Ben Wano, Jr. (Jill), sister-in-law Noreen Slease, and many caring nieces and nephews.
