Garry Dean Baker, 68, of Blue Springs, MO, died Thursday, October 18, 2018.  Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 27th at Blue Springs Baptist Temple, 4101 MO-7, Blue Springs, MO 64015.

     Garry was born May 4, 1950, to Lloyd and Cathalene Baker in Kirksville,  MO.  He accepted Christ early, he attended Bethel Baptist church in Kansas City, KS and then Blue Springs Baptist Temple in Blue Springs, MO.  Garry went to school in Saint Louis, then finished his education at the Kansas State Blind School in Kansas City, KS.  He lived in Wichita for 10 years and worked for the State of Kansas, then moved back to Kansas City and worked at Alphapoint until he retired.  Garry was in Special Olympics until he moved to Blue Springs, MO, he loved basketball.  He attended daycare at Hawthrone.  Garry was preceded in death by his twin brother Larry, sister Barbara, his parents and grandparents.  He leaves to cherish his memory by his sister Wanda (Richard) Shannon, Blue Springs, MO, brothers James Baker, Blue Springs, MO, Wallace (Donna) Baker, Kansas City, KS, nieces and nephews;Osceola, Bently and Terran Baker, Angel, Gant, and Alison Adebiyi and Marcus Bentley, Byron (Brook) Woody, Cesalli (Wells) Ralston, Terran Baker, Jr., Javon Baker, Stephen Walker, Felishia Adebiyi, Victoria Adebiyi  many extended family and friends. 

The family of Garry would like to extend their sincere gratitude for all the prayers, cards, telephone calls, emails and words of comfort.  We shall be eternally grateful to each of you.
