Jessie Mae Cattlett Clark, 92, Lenexa, KS passed away peacefully September 24, 2018 at the Lakeview Village Care Center surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Jessie’s life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 6  in the Heritage Room at Lakeview Village, 9100 Park, Lenexa, KS with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Heifer International, Heifer.org or Stephen Ministries, C/O Shawnee UMC, 10700 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS, 66203.

Jessie was born August 26, 1926 in Osage County, KS the daughter of William and Sadie Mae (McCauley) Engle. She was a graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Wichita and then started her career as a surgical RN at Wadsworth, Leavenworth V.A. Hospital. Jessie retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital in 1990. She married Arthur W. Cattlett in 1950 and had three children, Nancy, Arthur Jr. and Alan. In 1986 she married William Clark. Jessie was an active member of Shawnee United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur W. Cattlett, 1971 and William L. Clark, 2013. She was also proceeded in death by son, Arthur W. Cattlett, Jr and siblings, Loren Engle, Bob Engle, Dorothy McCain and Joanne Billings. Surviving children are Nancy Churchill Matkov (George), Alan Wayne Cattlett, Candace Saunders, and Cheryl Lemon, grandchildren, Ashlea Elizabeth Gregoire (James), Kathryn Ann Churchill,  Scott Coen (Vicki), Trent Coen (Juliane), Rachel Novotny, Elizabeth Gouge (Jarad), great grandchildren, Paul Jameson Gregoire, Brady Clark Gregoire, Morgan Tomaselli, Harper Gouge. Jessie is survived by her brother, Bill Engle and sister Dee Rossillion
