   Robert L. Crane, 84, of Shawnee, KS, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 24,  at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa,  KS 66215;  Burial in Resurrection Cemetery.

     Bob was born June 2, 1934, in Kansas City,  KS.  He was an electrician for the Sante Fe Railroad.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Sam and Betty, and two grandchildren Drew and Ellie.   Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce M. Crane, son Bob (Steph) Crane, 3 grandchildren Luke, Avery and Hannah and extended family and friends.

Dear Mrs. Crane and Bobby, I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Crane passing away. He was a great man and will be deeply missed by all. I will always remember the good times with him from my childhood whether it was playing at the house or at some sporting event. He coined the phrase "give her a rip Bubby".
