Robert (Bob) Ball, 75, of Overland Park, passed away Saturday, September 15th with family by his side.  Service followed by Visitation to be held from 4-5:30pm, Thurs Sept. 20th at the Porter Funeral Home 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS.

 Bob was born on October 29th, 1942 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. He was born to Edward and Margaret (Weber) Ball.  Bob grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania with his siblings: Edward, Marianne and Elizabeth (Jeanne Lago). 

 Bob graduated from Easton High school in 1961 and received a degree in computer programing from Churchman’s Business School.   After moving to Kansas City in 1991, Bob began working at Hendrick Automotive where he worked for more than 20 years; retiring 5 years ago.  Bob and Peg Nelson were married in 2014 after nearly 20 years together.

 Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Margaret Ball, brothers Edward and John (died in infancy) and other extended family members. 

 Bob is survived by his wife, Peg, and his sons, Erick (Angela), Kevin (Julie) and Garrett (Mandi) and his 6 grandchildren: Thomas, Megan, Dylan, Ethan, Piper and Quinn.  Peg’s grandchildren: Kaitlin, Brecken, Brett (Jason Latta), Ryan and Reece (Brett and Natalie Latta), were as loved as his own.
