     Juanita F. Thompson, 97, of Olathe, KS, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at Villa St. Francis.  Visitation will be 10-11:00 AM with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM Monday, September 24,  at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Kansas City,  KS.  Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice, 8527 Blue Jacket Street, Lenexa, KS 66214.

It was my privilege to serve as Juanita's chaplain. She was and is a beautiful soul. Junita is not gone, she just changed her place of residence, shedding her earth suit, she was promoted to her eternal home Jesus had prepared for her.
