  Thomas J. Zarse, 84, Olathe, KS, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Santa Marta. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by his grandson, Father Jaime Zarse at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 15, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd St. Olathe, KS. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St. Lenexa, KS, where the Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

     Tom was born October 27, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI, and was a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. His greatest joy in life was being a husband, father and providing for his family.

     Tom was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2016. He is survived by his 7 children and their spouses, Suzie and Kurt Liebendorfer, Michael Zarse, Richard Zarse, Peter and Sherri Zarse, Bob Zarse, Dr. Nancy Zarse, Jeff and Gina Zarse, 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
